Description:

The Santa Fe National Cemetery was originally built in 1865 by the United States government as a place to lay down those who had died in the brief skirmishes that took place in the area. Within the cemetery, there are several monuments, including the China-Burma-India granite block memorial which is dedicated to those who died in the Second World War. The cemetery is adjacent to Rosario Cemetery, just west of downtown.
