Exploring the varied forms of art that arise as a result of cultural beliefs and traditions, the Museum of International Folk Art has more than 135,000 in its permanent holdings, drawn from civilizations spread across the world. "Multiple Visions: A Common Bond" is one of the museum's most popular permanent displays, showcasing a diverse, whimsical collection of toys, textiles and folk art objects from more than 100 different nations in a unified setting. Those looking for a regional experience can visit the Familia y Fe ("Family and Faith") gallery, where objects from Spanish-controlled and -influenced New Mexico are displayed. Located on Museum Hill, nearby attractions include the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art, the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture and the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian.
