Surrounded by protected natural forest land and reservoirs, the Randall Davey Audubon Center is a 135-acre habitat that serves to protect native animals and help educate the general public about the local natural environment. In addition to self-guided walks along the center's winding trails, guests can take a guided bird tour or a tour of the 19th century home home of early 20th century artist Randall Davey, featuring many of his own art works and collected antique items. The center is set just a few miles east of Santa Fe, past the Nichols Reservoir.
Trails open daily 8:00 a.m. - dusk. Tour times vary, call for details.
